Masterclass with MJ and Hamilton star
The SAID projects events are comprised of 2 categories. First, we hold panels(in school) with actors and pioneers of the industry to talk to and work with students. The second initiative is taking the students to attend live theatrical performances at no charge to them.
The SAID project is looking forward to the first outing to a musical event of the 2025 season to see The WIZ in Philadelphia with the Sayre school.
The SAID project was exited to hold our first event in partnership with the unscripted project. During this events students learned improv technique with instructor Camille Young at the Sayre school in Philadelphia.
We had the honor of Carina Kay Louchiey returning to instruct a masterclass at the Sayre school in Philadelphia.
We went back to the set of the equalizer to go further in-depth into the world of production design.
In mid November we had the honor of attending the book launch for Keke Palmer’s new book, where students were able to meet Keke and listen to dialogue between her and Michael Strahan.
We had the opportunity to visit the set of the Equalizer with TYWLS of brooklyn, and we even had a private Q&A from Queen Latifah!
This season we had the exiting opportunity to see suffs the musical, with a private talkback from one of the stars (Jenn Colella) afterward.
Our first Broadway outing! We will be attending a performance of hells kitchen, the musical. Also there will be an exclusive talkback with members of the cast after!
We invite back one of our recent panelists, Carina-Kay Louchiey(MJ, Hamilton), as she leads a Dance intensive.
Our next event will feature 4 Experienced and notable figures in the world of Drama. This includes renowned theatrical and film actress Gina Gershon(Bye Bye Birdie, Ghost Brothers, Cabaret, and more), Carina-Kay Louchiey(MJ/ Hamilton), Ryan Steele(MJ, once upon a one more time), and Marcus Scribner(Black-ish). .
